# Goat Dota League (GDL)

A community platform for Dota 2 leagues and tournaments: teams apply,
organizers run brackets, and matches are hosted in real Dota lobbies.

## How signing in works

Sign-in is Steam OpenID. The password is typed on steamcommunity.com,
never on this site, and this site never receives it. GDL does not ask
for a trade link, for items, for Steam Guard codes, or for a password
in any form. Anyone asking for those in the name of GDL is not GDL.

## What is stored

A Steam ID, the public nickname and avatar Steam returns, teams and
tournaments entered, matches played and their statistics, and images
uploaded deliberately (team badges, rating screenshots attached to an
application).
